Sansevieria cylindrica are particularly elegant house plants, with their smooth, round, spear-like foliage. This HydroCare ‘Spikes’ cultivar is particularly handsome and bound to add an extra dimension to greenery at home or the office.

Horty Hints
Squeaky clean! Make sure to wipe the stems of your cylindrica regularly to remove any dust and help maximise its air purifying powers.
Shady spots sorted! The cylindrica can adapt to lower light conditions making it an ideal addition to those not-so-sunny locations.
Happy families! You can propagate your Sansevieria by gently removing any “pups” (smaller self-contained leaves), cutting directly below the root and placing them into a separate grow pot.
Light
Sanseviera cylindrica Spikes does best in moderate to bright, indirect light, but can also adapt to low light conditions if preferred.
Watering
Keep an eye on the water meter. Water when the meter has been on minimum for 14 to 21 days. Check out our HydroCare set up guide for more information.
Temperature
The Cylindrica Snake Plant is happy in places with temperatures between 15°C and 23°C and as low as 10°C for short periods.
Humidity
The cylindrica Spikes will do fine in normal household humidity. Avoid humid locations but if brown tips develop, consider occasional misting.
Feed
Add a Hydroculture liquid feed every 2 to 3 waterings during the spring and summer months.
Height & Growth Rate
This Snake Plant is slow-growing and typically reaches an ultimate height of around 75cm to 1m.
Toxicity
Sansevieria are mildly toxic if eaten. Keep away from children and animals. Do not consume.
