Asplenium Crissie Amy is an easy care Bird’s nest fern with a sense of fun. The classic bladed leaves end with wavy fronds that become more frilly as the plant matures.
Asplenium Crissie Amy is well behaved and undemanding but does like a degree of humidity making it ideal for adding a touch of easy care, air purifying greenery to kitchens and bathrooms.

Don’t leave me high n’ dry! Browning on the frond tips is caused from a lack of humidity in the air. Moving to a humid room or frequent misting will prevent this.
Remove excess dust with a damp cloth, however take care to avoid tender new fronds. Do not use leaf shine as the fronds are sensitive to chemicals.
Rotate your plant if it gets more light from one side, this will help maintain an even shape.
Light
The Bird’s Nest Fern prefers moderate, indirect light. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight and deep shade. An east or north-facing window will serve the fern best.
Watering
Water thoroughly during the growing season but less so in the winter. Keep moist but do not allow to stand in water. Bird’s Nest Ferns are best watered around edge, directly onto the soil, as pouring into the crown may cause it to rot.
Temperature
Asplenium Crissie Amy benefits from cool to average household temperatures between 16°C and 21°C. Avoid draughts.
Humidity
Crissie Amy does not like hot, dry conditions. Try to maintain at least some degree of humidity by misting regularly or relocating to steamier rooms. This plant is ideal for the bathroom or kitchen.

Does not require a lot of extra feeding. Apply a weak solution occasionally during the growth season.
